Who was he to me?
Klimt is one of many artists who I have been aware of for a long time, but haven’t really considered very carefully until relatively recently. Images like “The Kiss” about on the Internet and elsewhere:

Interesting work
On first sight, the image comes across a typical and full of gold. It seems, however, it is full of symbolism:
